Post-Bacc Application

To apply to UCCSTeach for teaching certification as a post-baccalaureate student, you must hold an undergraduate degree in math, science or other STEM related degree. Before applying, set up an initial information appointment with the Program Coordinator, Michelle Pittman, at mpittma2@uccs.edu. Post-bacc students are invited to apply to the program after successfully passing the Praxis exam in their chosen content area. More information on the Praxis exam is located here. Post-bacc students must also simultaneously apply to UCCS as an undergraduate non-degree seeking student. After admission to UCCS, students will be invited to apply to UCCSTeach using the Post-Baccalaureate UCCSTeach Application.
